Finally watched it...already drastically lowered my expectations but boy, that was pretty bad - the finale was straight forward without surprises as expected, the 2nd half was quite boring AND dumb. At least there were some nice cinematic shots.
I watched each season several times, bought S1-7 compilation a while ago...7 already had some downfalls, guess there is no need to buy S8 separately. Most visuals, audio and actors still tried to make it work. But it feels like the writers were not interested in the show any more. Bad dialogue and logic errors all over the place.
What a pity, but I'm thankful for hours and hours of interesting discussions and fan speculations, tons of quotes and memes. Hoping for better books and good spin off shows. Most episodes were good, some exceptional and some below average or even trash, especially the newer ones - in the end there is enough content to rewatch and I'm happy and thankful that this show exists, had a good time
