Earliest you can be killed by the Alien?

Just started up my second playthrough and it's got me thinking - what's the earliest you can be killed by the Alien? Is it possible to lure it out before it's 'official' introduction?

I think it's right after Axel's death. If you wait in the tram area for too long, it'll come and kill you.

Yep. Immediately after the cutscene where Axle gets killed if you hang around too long after the tram arrives it drops out of a vent in front of the tram and kills you if spotted.
