I'm glad we're getting a take on "Born" (of sorts). The hit-man aspect of it I think was also referenced in the Nicky Fury: My War Gone By comic. He was paired with Castle during the latter half of the Vietnam War to assassinate some high level North Vietnamese.

Yeah, it's normally a wrong place, wrong time, random act of violence. And I'm not too sure how this is supposed to mesh with Daredevil, since it was random there, too.
