The United States and Russia say they have reached an agreement on a framework for securing Syria's chemical weapons after the third day of intense negotiations in Geneva.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov say some elements of the deal include a timetable and how Syria must comply — and that if Syria fails, they will seek a Security Council resolution that could authorize military action.

None of wich could have been made without a believable threat of military action from the US. Makes me wonder if they were aiming for this result all along.

That reminds me of back in the '80s when AIDS appeared on the scene and Catholics were debating over whether or not to drink from communion chalices; whether their faith in God would protect them, whether they would offend God by not accepting His Blood (or worse yet, the priest. Or even worse, other parishoners), and other things to consider.

A terrified homeowner got the shock of his life when he woke up to find an 8ft crocodile hiding under his bed.

The huge 330lb beast spent the entire night lying quietly under Guy Whittall's bed, as he slept blissfully unaware just centimetres away.

The giant croc stayed hidden for eight hours until the following morning - when Guy even perched on the edge of his bed as the deadly creature lay fractions away from his dangling feet.

Guy, 40, was only alerted to the bizarre scene at Humani Lodge in Zimbabwe, when he was enjoying some breakfast in the kitchen and heard the petrified screams of a housemaid.
Guy, who is a director at Humani, ran back to his room and was horrified to discover the enormous crocodile nestled under his bed.
