Revision of commonly accepted history on the way?

But we already know there were Europeans here before Cook. Admittedly they were almost all on the western side of the island, but I wouldn't have thought that finding a caucasian skull pre-dating Cook in NSW would be that much of a surprise.

Especially since the article doesn't say how and where it was found.  NSW isn't exactly small.

I am seriously impressed by the implications of what this could mean...

Just needs the correct facial rigging for movement and we can finally have authentic-looking virtual actors.

Sigourney, please scan your head in. We can have Ripley 8 around forever.

Actually animating them is still a completely different story, and where the whole illusion will likely fall apart.

This needs to be used for when Arnold goes ahead and does Terminator 5. And then the technology should be used to bring back Charles Bronson, Bruce Lee, and whoever else that is dead, but that HAS to be in Expendables 3.

London (CNN) — Africa's western black rhino is now officially extinct according the latest review of animals and plants by the world's largest conservation network.

The subspecies of the black rhino — which is classified as "critically endangered" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature's (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species ( http://www.iucnredlist.org/ )— was last seen in western Africa in 2006.

The IUCN warns that other rhinos could follow saying Africa's northern white rhino is "teetering on the brink of extinction" while Asia's Javan rhino is "making its last stand" due to continued poaching and lack of conservation.

"In the case of the western black rhino and the northern white rhino the situation could have had very different results if the suggested conservation measures had been implemented," Simon Stuart, chair of the IUCN species survival commission said in a statement.

The sad thing is that no one gives a f**k. Not even the humanist atheists seen to care that insensitive humans namely African poachers continue to murder rhinos and elephants for stupid f**king reasons.

And yet somebody wrote that article in a sympathetic light.

Eh. Performance and "Face" Capture. Let's say we have a detailed cgi skin of Siggy... an actress of a similar build could do motion capture and facial expressions... then they'd layer Siggy's face over the face of the mocap actress.. et voila. Why bother with traditional computer animation for that? :P
