Anybody know why this image disappeared from the Week 2 update of the Facebook app?

Sorry...was never there...was via Verizon...

ThisBethesdaSea

It's the most detailed space ship I've ever seen. It screams Ridley Scott. It's stunning.

Kol

What makes you think so?
I don't think it ever was on that app.
Looks like a cropped version of the verizon image to me.

Ah...that's where I saw it! My bad...

I even commented about it in the other thread...it was a long weekend... :-[ :-[ :-[

I am also digging the new Charlize Theron pic. She looks absolutely stunning next to that holo-table.

i thought the engines just rotate to make the landing, but with this new pic,
it looks like the engines also rotates outward. damn! this ship has so many moving
parts on the engines. i hope the 10ys/100mil warranty covers those giant ball joints  :D

I know, for a vehicle that's going a long way from home it's terribly complicated.  You can posit more reliable technology in the future, but - we're a long way in time from when we started building moving parts, and they still break.  I'd guess they'll be breaking 70 years from now.  That ship's going to have a big problem if a rough landing jams an engine in place.

She's tall. Around 6' in heels.

Depending on the heels, of course.

Eva

Ridley is 5 ft 7.5 in (171 cm) - a bit short perhaps, but a giant presence nevertheless.  :)

Cvalda

He seems really small in person. I think he came up to my chin when I brushed against him last month--literally. But yes, a very powerful presence 8)
