I do kinda like the more serious turn, though. It's certainly better than quite a few of those Roger Moore comedies we got.

Octopussy was the worst offender. Bond in a monkey suit, Bond dressed as a clown, Bond swinging from vines screaming like f**king Tarzan!

I really liked Spy. I liked it for two reasons, the the Bond "theme song" was modified and sounded really cool, and the Lotus Esprit that turned into a submarine was just awesome.

I didn't care for the villain and the strange fish fetish he had.

And the villain had a really boring death. Which is another thing - if Bond 23 does get out of limbo, I hope they kill off the baddie in true OTT Bond style.

A part of me died inside when Greene was killed off-screen in QoS.

I was never really big on Bond films (havent seen em all) so im a bit shocked to find the two I enjoyed most are the top two voted for

I thought Connery was the best Bond, but I love GoldenEye even thought Connery isn't Bond.
