Its awful and the writing is worse. They took what JMS did and turned it into horsecrap.

I don't even register if its bad or not. I hate when continuity is messed with so for 50 years there is nothing on his hammer. For the majority of AvX there is nothing on his hammer. Then suddenly in one issue there it is - no explanation. Just there.

Just read Dr. Manhattan #1 and enjoyed it. I think Straczynski got the character down pretty well, but goddamn what a mindf**k.
