A:R Alien Warrior Statue

I know this has been featured in a thread before, but what do you think of the A:R Alien Warrior Statue from Sideshow? I know many (ok a lot) of members hate their designs but if you take the story into consideration it makes sense. I think it looks really threatning and is a good representation of the Aliens in A:R. I like the base too, quite creepy. My only gripe is the colour, they were brown not red. Either way, I am getting this for sure.

Great looking A:R alien. And color greatly reminds me of mutant origin of this creature.

wow, this looks awsome! I like the color. I actualy kinda like this design in red. better then brown color they used for the movie. why do I get a feeling I'm gonna see this pic in a Heavy Metel music video?

I like the base actualy, it just shows the nature of the Alien, and the one thing I know Giger doesn't like are snakes and worms. guess they creep him out. lol.

In an artistic context, yes.  He's put deformed babies and boobies in plenty of his paintings.

GameOverMan is right, Giger's work is always showing some form of nudity and some forms of babies in his work. but they don't freak me out like the Human Baby/mutant Flies from Doom 3. (Shutters)

But rarely arbitrarily. It wouldn't be like Giger to just have a random naked non-biomech body lying in the middle of nowhere.

Not that there's any real point to the whole argument, but what the hey ...
