Did you guys get these droid popsicles back when TPM was released, or was that a regional thing?

Don't remember them in Scotland. Although if it's an ice lolly we don't eat a lot of those!

I love Genndy Tarkovsky's series.
As the series basically makes up the runtime of a feature film. I'll go ahead and say it's the best Star Wars film since the Original Trilogy, even including Rogue One.

As much as I like Rogue One, I'd probably agree with that. Iirc, Grievous came off as so much more of a badass in that then he did in RoTS.

Yeah, done a great disservice.

I prefer the movie portrayal TBH. Cowardly Grievous is much more interesting.

Did really dig this animated project growing up though and do very much enjoy revisiting it every few years

The problem is he isn't scary anymore in the movie and the Jedi make fun of him. In Genndy Tarkovsky's series they fear him. In addition, it has a great visual style, like Samurai Jack  ;D

I don't find the canon character interesting at all, the TCW version is fun though.
The Genndy Tarkovsky version's far superior but is also rather one-note,
but as a monstrous Jedi enemy is a far more believable threat.

Still a little bummed we never got Ventress in the films tbh. There's been a distinct lack of interesting female villains in the series.

Totally agreed.

Hell, I'll take an interesting female character at this point.
