Did you even try to get Dallas killed?

We did want to shoot a different ending where they were are shot at the end, but we ran out of time.

too bad, that would be nice addition.

Ricky was suppose to be cut in half, but we were told that it was "too mean."  But we did try.

i understand.  but it would've been great

I'm not sure if that would've been better or worse, but I'm leaning on worse.

would have been more realistic though.

Killing pregnant women isn't mean but chopping a kid in half is.  Gosh FOX

Alan Dutch Schaefer

if Dallas would have died it would've been like in Wolf Creek when we thought that chick would be the hero but she's the first one to die from the killer

Demonio Cazador

I agree with SiL,
-Dallas should've died before boarding the chopper...

Other deads that would've made the movie more believable for me:
-Ricky dies in the chopper due to his injury...
-Kelly and Molly in the crash...

Oh well...

Alan Dutch Schaefer

yeaaa should'nt there be injuries from that crash!

because the government/Yutuni corp, wouldent want people talking about what happened.

Given their behaviour in the rest of the film, I doubt anyone would take them seriously.

Two people who should have died?

Kelly and Molly. My god man. I would have cheered as loud as i could in theater if those two died at some point..

That kid was the worst actor ive ever seen in my life..

I was SoOooOOoo waiting for that spec ops team to shoot everyone and instead i got "Are the monster gone now mommy?" at which point i was seriously considering slashing my wrist to end my misery lol

Who at Fox is making these "decisions"? The skinned predators and now they are telling the Strauses that killing a character a certain way is "too mean", yet there are other less important characters that get killed, even worse?

I do wish there was an alternate ending filmed, though. I think the theatrical ending is too much for the fans. The general audiences won't understand who that woman is and how important her name is.

Anyway, Ricky not dying didn't bother me, but I do think too many people survived at the end.

What did you expect going into a thread with a title like this?
Ice-cream?

Another problem I had with the end was how Dallas was saved. If him being saved at all wasn't bad enough, it had to be by the Predator using his bloody Nintendo powerglove.

I don't think that was really saving him. Wolf was after only the Aliens and humans just got in the way. That's why he didn't go after him and try to get his gun back. The Alines were the mosre serious threat at that point.
