I agree that G -1 is one of the better film, but you insulted the MV

The Running Man - Been decades since I watched and can now truly terrible the script and acting is.  The dude playing Killian is actually pretty decent, and Jesse the Body is okay, but even Yaphet struggles. Everyone else is awful.

And that's before you get to the fact that an American audience was constantly lied to in the 2010s and still voted the liar into the Presidency. And will do so again.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - Gary Oldman elevates any movie he's in. Loved the natural progression and story arc of Koba - all that previous captive trauma coming to the fore.

Civil War

I liked the concept but the movie wasn't as big as I was expecting it to be. Thought it would be more military and fighting.

Was hyped for Part one, but didn't care for it.

I could not get connect with this movie for the life of me. So boring.

Sorry to hear that, I absolutely loved it.
Haha I forgive you. ;) Visually pleasing, sure, story and characters, flat. Why did you love it?

Had that problem with the first one (especially surprising since I love the director usually). Waiting til I can see it on a decently large screen to try the second one out.
I think you might feel the same for Part 2. Let us know.

Bought Dune part two the other day on blu ray.
Just finished watching Dune part one and two back to back.

If I was forced to choose I would say part one is my favourite.

But either way, it was 6 hours of pure brilliance.

That was very f**king cool.  8)

How does it compare as far as the practical VFX/stunts of Fury Road? I too had fears of an overuse of CGI from the trailer but is that warranted? That said CGI doesn't necessarily ruin a film. Curious for your take on it.

There's some noticeable green screen here and there but the effects are well executed for the most part.
