Louie season 2 and Wilfred season 1.

Louie is god tier, American Wilfred is pleb tier.

I enjoyed the first season of Wilfred, but the second was just dreck. I think I laughed twice throughout the whole thing, and even then, quietly.

I was put off Louie by ads over here suggesting it was another Ricky Gervais crap fest (f**k I hate him), but it seems he's only in two episodes. Hopefully he'll only be in a couple of minutes' footage, so my TV will be able to survive my repeated kicking of it.

The X-Files pays homage to The Thing! I thought Ice was an amazingly fun episode. It had a good cast behind it. The tension and paranoia was pretty well balanced. And a director (David Nutter) who would go on to direct various Supernatural episodes. Probably my favorite episode of season one thus far.

He is only in one scene, and it's very brief, Louie is wonderfully weird and it's even more impressive when you find our Louis ck does pretty much everyone in the show even the editing and production.

Can't say I watched much of the American incarnation of Wilfred, all the actuall humourous elements are directly copied from the Australian version, even the second season of the Australian version was testing at times, the whole concept was initially written as a short and it's pretty telling.
