Haven't seen Robin Hood (mostly 'cause I just didn't think it looked good), but I thought The Last Duel was a masterpiece, and I really dug Napoleon (though it is screaming for that extended cut).

But I had hard tome revisiting the same scenes over and over with only some variation; made it feel lovr budget to mr. I get why Scott had to, but the execution missed what Groundhog Day and Esge of Tommorrow did well. Again IMHO.

That's the beauty of it. It's not exactly the same scenes over and over again. It's the same events seen again from differing perspectives. There's a lot of subtlety involved so repeat viewings are necessary.

Like Blade Runner, the more you watch it, the better it gets.

I am a major fan of Bladerunner, Ruther Hauer is one of my favorite actors. His Roy really effected me as a kid, particularly the ending when he confronts Deckard, and then saves his life.

I recommend The Director's Cut of Robinhood, gives more time for Robin and Marian's to bond and fall in love.

I think those statues are part of the hotel at which the Paramount panel will be hosted. Ironically it will take place at The Colosseum—Casino Level at Caesar's Palace, Vegas.

So they are just running with Gladiator II then? No Gladiator: Remus?

@Ingwar will need to update thread title with Roman numerals now.  8)

If you make that "I" in the middle just a little bit bigger, you have Gladiator III.

Did Scott secretly film Gladiator II and III back-to-back accounting for the doubling of the budget and extended shooting schedule?  8)

Gladiator "II" makes good sense.

Grain of salt. As Ingwar said, World of Reel can be questionable...

Might be some footage or even a teaser trailer for attendees, not so sure about a public release.

Quote from: World of ReelThere's buzz of  a possible trailer drop for Ridley Scott's "Gladiator II" this coming week at CinemaCon. That would make a lot of sense given the CBS and Paramount have already installed artwork for the film in Vegas (above). Also, knowing how fast-paced Scott is with post-production work, I wouldn't be surprised if the sequel is already in the can. "Gladiator II" is set for release on November 22, and, yes, it looks like that will be the official title.
