are AVP Pred's Blind??

wut i noticed after watchin AVP for the 31241324 time ,at the end of the movie the Pred's that carry Scar into the mother ship, they had their masks on wouldn't they see the Predalien inside scar?? or they didn't have there masks set to see the aliens? but you would think that they would have them on knowing their going into a area thats still probably infested with aliens. just a thought

The script kind of explains why they aren't wearing masks - standard practice seems to be for Preds to kill themselves once infected.
