I'm very curious to see what they do with the story. If it's not a reboot or a sequel or even a prequel, then what? The same game, only played through a different viewpoint?

Wait the Doom series had a story? I thought it was just an excuse to shoot demons in the face and thats that.

Very good, i've not played a game that has made me feel uncomfortable since Condemned and that is high praise coming from me since its very rare for a game to illicit any kind of response like from myself.

But they're sooooooo good! The scene with Raiden and Snake after Raiden gets up from the bed was incredible, I even broke into tears

Game should've ended with "Snake had a hard life" instead of coming back after the credits and having big boss explain everything that didn't make sense. Despite that, manly tears all around.
