I would simply keep the shitty model and market it as internet meme total shit need to see to bitch 'bout it movie (like they did with this trailer).Replacing the model adds extra costs and the chances that this movie will be shit is still there. The design is definitely improved. I'll watch it to see if Carrey can reach Cage-like proportions of craziness if nothing else.

I still have no interest in the movie, but I'm fascinated by the whole process here.  The fact that the studio actually spent a ton of money to redesign the title character and delay the release is staggering to me.
