What made you happy today?

What made me feel happy today was talking to peeps here about the Batman/Predator crossovers, and Catherine Zeta Jones in The Haunting.

Seeing U2 in concert last night and hearing them play the entire Joshua Tree album live.

I've seen many, many big rock acts live (Maiden, Metallica, Springsteen) but this one took the cake!

Apparently at the NZ show he was ranting incoherently between songs.

From what I hear he's legitimately prone to manic episodes, and I don't see a band that big postponing a gig just coz the singer has ants in his pants that day.

First I've ever heard of that.
Funny thing is he's always been chatty on stage for as long as I can remember. Which is why I find it odd that people complain he's too vocal with his views on stage. I mean hell, the band has been vocal on so many political fronts on pretty much everything they touch since the early 80s.
