I have wanted to play the first System Shock for about 25 years. It will be of course different, as it's a re-imagining, but still very excited for it.

I've tried to play the first a few times. Never got very far. It's a very advanced game for its time, and that means very complicated controls.

Same here, I've played the original for like 10 minutes and promised to come back to it, but never did.
I have finished the second game something like 7 times in my lifetime and it's one of my favorite games ever.

Are the other two games you've played pachinko machines? A good plot is no excuse for how awful an experience System Shock is to actually play.
