I've been trying to not stare too intently to the trailers so yeah wasn't sure which of them it was  I hear Brontosaurus is back in the realm of dinosaurs too.

And yeah no problem. I didn't even realize how bad the quality is because I kinda glaze my eyes while watching the trailers xD

This looks like the best one since the 1993 original. Plus its got Chris Pratt who was great in Guardians so I will be going to see this.
I still can't believe how good the original film looks it holds up much better than a lot of late 90's and early 2000's films with bad CGI like the Phantom Menace. Its aged so well like Empire Strikes Back and Alien.

The whole thing looks like a big predictable cliche to me.

Oliver Harper's my favourite reviewer of films on YouTube. Does such good reviews and a lot of good 80's and early 90's films. he will be doing Alien and Aliens soon.

Because they didn't go over-the-top with it. They did what they knew they could do to the best of their ability and no more, and the CGI simply compliments the film rather than dominates it. Same as with Terminator 2.

whats that from? plus that clip felt very jurassic parky!!

These names were mentioned in the podcast i posted then i found this pic ..we will see if its in the movie or just fan made. I would like that if the raptors would have different personality tbh.

eg Echo and Delta looks pretty the same so they are just following the  others. Blue or Charlie has to be the leader of the pack. Its probably Charlie since we dont see her in the scene where Owen stops the raptors. Probably Charlie went nuts there, Owen tranqulized her and the others came to her rescue. It is mentioned in the podcast that Charlie has a scar in her face so probably she is a veteran too...maybe an old raptor.

Hope its not the one Tim locked in:D that one wasnt badass at all.

Guys what do you think about the different flora in the  clips? In JP the island wasa vintage central american landscape. In Lost Word Sorna was like the Rockey Mountain. Then again Sorna in JP3 became tropical. Now its completly different, in some scenes is tropical but look at the t rex paddock its LW all over. Bit weirdm

Still no spoilers about the restricted area so thats a wooohooo. Maybe the raptors just pretend to be friends so they can get to the males there.

I think Starship Troopers (the original) holds up incredibly well now a days too.

Good call. I didn't mean to imply Jurassic Park and T2 were the only examples of good 90s CGI, but it's true there aren't that many of them :)

What they could do was very limited at that time (and they used those limitations VERY well!) compaired to what we have today. Were they made in this day and age i'm sure they would be over the top action packaged as the rest of the movies these days... unfortunatly.

Today they are also doing what they can do to the best of their ability in terms of action and CGI (although some CGI still looks so fake compaired to JP, Starship Troopers, T2),  im hoping for some character development along the way, I doubt that this movie will offer that as much as JP and TLW did with their characters.  "Adventure and action" movies these days are soley focussing on the action rather then good character development along the way, like T2 and JP for example had.

But needless to say, im excited to watch this movie and I believe it will be a great sequel in the series, it will be great to finally see a fully "working" park with visitors and dinosaurs and other dinosaur species. I'm really hoping that they will show what's left of the "old" park (the Velociraptor on the tour car hinted such a scenario on the teaser poster).

Sorry to be pedantic, but not aka. They're two different species.
