I would rather suffocate under a dumptruck load of copies of The Lost World than watch JP3, even though I do love the raptors and am partial to the aviary scene, only because it should've been in JP1.

Any movie where they try and 1-Up the biggest dinosaur with an even bigger dinosaur is built on a firm foundation of dumbass.

30 minutes in..... they tried to give all the lead characters a kind of "silly charm"... sorta like a lot of the characters in Tremors... and the overall tone of the film is a lot sillier than the first or second films (and those films already had their fair share of humor)...er.. so yeah this sorta feels like the "tremors version of Jurassic Park"...

it really doesnt work.
I dont mind the slight change in tone.. there's been sequels to good films that had a different tone to it and managed to also be great films on their own.. ex: the gritty realism of Alien into the "hollywood action film" of Aliens complete with badass one liners.

The problem here is that the different tone is handled poorly. The "jokes" dont really work. The stupid characters are more annoying than anything.
