The people at Universal better get the stick out of their asses and start working on JP4. Hell, even Joe Johnston recently said he'd be interested in directing it after he was done with Captain America.

He might want to direct CA2 next though.

he won't go right into CA2 now, whilst the Avengers is being made, there won't be a CA2 for a while yet.

It wasn't anywhere near Spielberg's idea. It was a fake published as a rumor around 2004 I think.

Why not? Were getting sequels to films with 20, even 30 year gaps between them. Who the hell would have thought Tron:Legacy would happen?

Just because there doesnt appear to be any real plan to go ahead at the minute doesnt mean there never will be.

Look at The Chronicles Of Riddick. I never ever thought we'd get a sequel to that and now its looking nailed on.

But then Johnston said last summer that JP4 wasn't scrapped at all. Just frozen for now.

He has a choice to do this or CA2. I would not be surprise if he ends up doing Captain America 2 instead.
