What are your favourite soundtracks? (Read 91,993 times)

Soundtrack to all the Lord of the Rings like someone mention above.

The Crow and House of 1000 Corpses soundtracks are 2 of my personal favourites. Not generally a big fan of soundtracks these days

I'm a fan of game soundtracks. Gears 2, Metal Gear Solid, and Command & Conquer all have great music.

TJ Doc

This one is my new favorite. It's from the Avatar trailer. :)

Space Sweeper

The music to the Halo ODST trailer was excellent.

Here's mine:

Space Sweeper

As a massive fan: I'd be out of my mind not to mention this peice!

Just listen.. I'm telling you it'll probably be one of the most beautiful things you've ever heard.

Some of my personal favourite movie scores are, in a random order:

-Jurassic Park
-The Lost World: Jurassic Park
-Alien: Resurrection
-Men in Black
-Men in Black 2
-Lord of the Rings
-The Corpse Bride
-Star Wars
-Independence day
-Harry potter (first 3)
-Alien Vs. Predator
-Tremors: Aftershock
-Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen
-Indiana Jones (all three)

But there are more...

i would have to say Gladiator and Black Hawk Down are 2 of my most favorite ...

Also liked RocknRolla and Echos of War "World of Warcraft"

Requiem For A Dream - Clint Mansell

Summer Overture.

Sunshine - John Murphy

Sunshine (Adagio In D Minor)

Lord Of The Rings - Howard Shore

Bridge Of Khazad Dum

Both Sunshine and the end of Howard Shores "Bridge of Khazad Dum" from the LOTR soundtrack use slightly altered versions of Adagio In D Minor.
In Bridge Of Khazad Dum from around 4.45 you can the similarites to Sunshine even though at first glance they are totally different. Is glance even the right word if your talking about listening. Well I couldnt think of another one so its staying.

Edit: Wow vve just found a video where somebody has taken the Sunshine version of Adagio and sung over the top of it with the LOTR version. Fantastic. Utterly brilliant. It wont let me embed it so you'll have to click the link im afraid.

Also if games are allowed then this has gotta be in there.

So full of win, last 1:30 is f**king epic.

Also for the first time in a MGS game the theme actually appeared in the game. Even though the ful lthemes for MGS and MGS2 where fantastic (the last minute of this one is the theme from mgs2) they never actually appeared in the games strangely enough. But the new theme for MGS3 which starts at about 55 seconds in appeared in the cutscene just before snake and eva fight the shagohod on the motorcycle and its bloody epic. I still think MGS3 is better than MGS4.
