I'm a really big fan of Manhunter too. Have to agree that Petersen is leagues better than Norton in the lead role. Also prefer Cox as Lecter - not sure I'd necessarily call it a better performance than Hopkins, but the way he's so much more down to earth and believable makes it all the more scary.

Also Manhunter has Dennis Farina and his moustache.

Great film. Has Mann's fingerprints all over it.

Just watched The Fellowship of the Ring and The Twim Towers for the first time in awhile. Oh man, they are great movies. Keen to watch The Return of the King right now.

Nice one. Did the same recently + the Hobbit trilogy too. All extended editions. Love those films. And I admit I get uber emotional at the end of ROTK at the white havens departure.

Yeah, people should only watch the extended cuts of the LOTR movies.

Not what I expected, but in a good way. Watching it a second time now, and I rarely do that.

The quality of this transfer is gorgeous, by the way.

Not as grand as the original film but still a good film. The Leonov is a very cool looking ship and I always enjoy watching Roy Scheider.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1
I remember the first time I saw this I didn't enjoy it - It felt like an odd film as it felt so un-Potter like. On second viewing I realise the fact it's setting is so different to the others (hardly anything at Hogwarts) is what makes it felt odd. I enjoyed it more this time round - still felt like a filler film mind.

Indeed. The second I heard 2001 had a sequel, I was all over it. Good flick.

2010 is a more straightforward movie. Good performances by John Lithgow, Roy Scheider and Helen Mirren. It even has some early cgi stuff. If you have the dvd you should be switching to the blu-ray right now; it looks 100x times better.

The Delta Force
Chuck Norris, Lee Marvin, Robert Vaughn, Robert Forster and Liam Neeson. What a cast Cannon got together for what is two movies crammed together lol

Cold Pursuit
Really enjoyed this. More of a Black Comedy than i was expecting. Some brilliant touches

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
A brilliant trilogy ender. Great movie for the family

Happy Death Day 2U
Was not expecting this. What a way to do a sequel that isnt a simple retread of the original

Inferno
Yeah made as much sense the second time round

Nomads
An intriguing Horror film, that you really have to be in the right mindset for. Its what got McTiernan the job on Predator

Masters of the Universe
Still love this. Some of the set designs are amazing and Frank Langella is awesome

With the most 80s of 80s soundtracks... f**k, I love this movie.
