Still quite a bit from 2023 that I have left that I want to see (The Boy and the Heron, Eileen, May December, Poor Things, Rebel Moon: Part One - A Child of Fire, Ferrari, The Iron Claw, The Zone of Interest, etc.) but as we're looking ahead to 2024, these are the movies coming next year that are high on my list at the moment:
Drive-Away Dolls (Ethan Coen)
Dune: Part Two (Denis Villeneuve)
Mickey 17 (Bong Joon-ho)
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (Adam Wingard)
Rebel Moon: Part Two - The Scargiver (Zack Snyder) [assuming I like the first one, that is]
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (George Miller)
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (Wes Ball)
The Bikeriders (Jeff Nichols)
Alien: Romulus (Fede Álvarez)
Gladiator 2 (Ridley Scott)
Nosferatu (Robert Eggers)
Civil War (Alex Garland)
Untitled Jordan Peele Film (though I'm assuming this is going to be pushed into 2025)
I'm sure there's a ton that isn't on my radar that I'm going to want to see, especially smaller releases and foreign films that haven't really picked up any marketing steam just yet, but these are the big standouts after glancing through some lists of what's due to be coming out.
