Is that the Die Hard rip-off set in a private school? I've always wanted to see that one.

They were really running out of ideas with this one. That falling death, though.

Super 8

Forgot how much this film is a nostalgic trip (rip off) on Goonies and ET. Spielberg's touch all over it.

I still have no f**king idea how Waingro escaped from the parking lot. Dude must have stealth camouflage.

The Menu (2022)
This film is amazing and what a cast. Anna Taylor-Joy steals it once again. Watch it. Trust me.

1917 (2019)

Brilliant film and I love how this film was shot.

Train to Busan (2016)
Peninsula (2020)

Peninsula was ok just not as good as Train to Busan.

Pearl (2022)

A prequel to Ti West's X (2022), which I still haven't watched yet, which I enjoyed.  Mia Goth's performance in Pearl was good  :)

Been meaning to see that, but not playing in cinema here yet. Saw someone compare it to Ready or Not and that got me excited to watch it.

What is it with these Evil Dead movies constantly retconing previous entries?

I think I enjoyed this one the most. Bruce Campbell made this movie and IMO the character of Ash Williams is more suitable for a straight-up comedy rather than a horror comedy

Also, THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK !
What retcon? I've seen edits of the trilogy where they're presented as one continuous movie.

I've never left the cinema feeling so utterly drained as I did after that film (and I mean that in a good way). Excellent movie.
