Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

It sure ain't the Temple Beth Israel.

I find that movie more entertaining than the Last Crusade.

Last Crusade is my favorite.

The Food. Seen it before but didn't remember it. It's a decent 80s style horror. A mash up of Assault in Precinct 13, The Thing, and Hellraiser.

Cheesy as hell. Feels more like a slapstick comedy in places

And yet ironically a lot of the potentially really daft stuff - like the bit where Bond actually goes into space - is done entirely straight and serious.

We park our cars in the same garage.

Temple definitely doesn't deserve it's bad reputation though. It's like Die Hard 2 - it's an awesome movie, just not quite as awesome as the ones either side.

Watched Fast & Furious (2009) last night, working through the series on Netflix atm. If you are looking for a mindless and over the top car chase action, these films are the way to go haha.

Oh Temple is fantastic. It's almost like Indiana Jones meets a horror movie.

Simply brilliant. Whilst the actual moon mission sequences were incredibly realistic, overly tense and beautifully shot it was the human drama of Armstrong's personal life that captivated me.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Yep, this one is still my favorite. Beat for beat I think the movie is damn near perfect. And this is probably my favorite Connery performance as well.

And I find it kind of funny how this pulls the same villain reveal twist as For Your Eyes Only, and with the same actor, no less.

Yes, I did. He forgot to bring T2, though. We'll watch it when we next meet up.

Spoiler
I knew Michael Biehn was going to be . . . not clothed, but I was not expecting that scene with Sarah. Welcome surprise.

We also watched Unstoppable because it took place near where sweetie lives. I was holding my breath for more than half the movie.
