The Terminator (1984)

Sheer perfection. Thirty years after its release, there's nothing else quite like it.

You're terminated f**ker/10

Cough Cough... those shmaltzy moments with Reese and Sarah sure arent "perfect".

Very, very effective. I watched it in a class... There was quite a bit of laugher, but it was more a nervous laughter and laughing out of enjoyment than it was laughing at it being dated.

I'll definitely give it a go. I'll see if its on NetFlix or LoveFilm later.  :)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 6/10

I saw it last weekend. I was a big fan of it as a kid, had all the toys and merchandise. But the movie was okay. Megan Fox was great as always. There was a couple of funny lines from the Turtles but I wasn't that keen on the voices, particularly Donatello.

Nightbreed: The Director's Cut

Well, that was all kinds of strange, creepy, and fascinating. I'm a little fuzzy on a few of the details still, but f**k it, there was enough cool stuff here to overlook that. I can now say that Craig Sheffer is more than just the asshole from Hellraiser: Inferno, and f**king hell, Cronenberg.  :o

Went to see Interstellar last night. Gathering my thoughts up about it. I liked it but it still wasn't all that.

Song of the South (1946) - One of the very few Disney movies that I never grew up with since Disney never put out a home video release. It been almost 70 years since this movie came out and I think it was a pretty good movie. Some of the acting was bad and there was parts of the movie got boring, but Uncle Remus stole the whole show. I also find some of the other main characters pretty enjoyable too expect for the kids mom and those two bullies. The ending was pretty nice too, so I give it a 7/10.

As for the racism in this movie, I can see why some people would be upset about this movie but I don't think the movie is offense as most people make out to be. It's not the best Disney movie ever made, but I do think it's worth checking out. If they can put out that Donald Duck short of him being a Nazi on DVD then I don't think there is any reason why they can't have this movie out on DVD & Blu-Ray.

Interstellar

It has its flaws, and sure it gets pretty far-fetched by the end, but I was absolutely swept away for the majority of the film. The first act could have used some tightening up, though, especially in the long ass base tour where Michael Caine explains a ton of shit to McConnaughey. And I probably could have done with a little less Lithgow as well.

 John Wick (2014)

I expected this to be boring , but it was full of action (and yet it's not one of these typical action movies) . This movie has a lot of "personality" in it and I think Keanu Reeves did a good job . After watching this , Nicholas Cage & Jason Statham's action movies seem like a kindergarten to me .

How many dead people can you count?/10

I'll be seeing Interstellar next .

Interstellar (2014)

I was enjoying this until Nolan delivered a mind f**k to the audience during the last act of the film. Also, McConaughey has reached the apex of his career. Excellent performance from him. Space porn of the greatest variety. This may not be Nolan's best film, but it's a damn fine film nonetheless.

Leaving my in about 20 minutes to see it in IMAX ;D

Gonna be my first IMAX film, actually. Seemed like a good choice for a first time.

Interstellar

Loved it, including the last act, which a lot of people seem to be up in arms about.

Spoiler
The fact that he was the "ghost" didn't surprise me, I saw that coming pretty much from the beginning, but I was fully expecting beings transcended beyond mortal confines to be responsible a la 2001. Granted, that kind of was the case, albeit this time the beings are us.

A fantastic movie-going experience all around, and one hell of a first film to experience in IMAX.
