My grandfather was an alcoholic, and he was rough on my dad. And I also lost an uncle to a drunk driver when in was around 8 years old. Last year, a friend of mine's brother hit and killed a young boy while driving just slightly intoxicated. I doubt he'll see the outside of prison ever again.

I've also lost family and friends due to smoking induced cancers, and have two cousins and an aunt who's lives have been wrecked by narcotics abuse, and I mean completely.

There's the story. Unfortunately, it's all true.
