Superman: Unbound

This was okay. It was cool seeing Brainiac get the limelight in his movie (and not a crappy wannabe tie in the old cartoon, to boot), but most of this was just nothing to write home about. Also, the attempts at badass one liners all fell flat. You're not Will Smith, Clark, "Welcome to Earf!" ain't gonna cut it.

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox

This is mostly pretty good, but you can tell that they had to compress a ton of world building and backstory into eighty minutes. And why was Aquaman drawn to look like Brock Lesnar?

Gotham by Gaslight. Was really great, but I do love these DCAU movies.

Gojira. A classic film, and still my favorite Godzilla movie to date. Barely edging out 2014.

Another average Star Wars flick. I don't get the hate. Typical Star Wars stuff whe compared to the other new ones, imo.

Man of Tai Chi - strange Chinese movie featuring (and directed by) Keanu Reeves. I enjoyed it, but I'm not really a fan of wire-fu (though it was fairly subdued in this film).

Warrior. Tom Hardy MMA movie. It was strange to see a martial arts film with top actors in it. I really enjoyed it, even if it was a pastiche of every Rocky movie. The fighting was really good to be honest, and the plot made sense given MMA was bit more niche when "Warrior" was released.

Boyka: Undisputed. WHY OH WHY is Scott Adkins not the biggest action star on the planet? This was a by the numbers film, make no mistake, but Adkins is just so good in everything he does. I really rate him not only on his superlative ass-kickery, but this guy can really act.

I've only seen the Snipes "Undisputed", but I sense a Boyka marathon in the near future.

Yeah, it makes me sad Adkins wasn't born a couple of decades earlier so he could've been at his prime in the 80s.
