Gondor. It takes too much time to recruit units though and everything costs a bit too much it seems. Does it seem like that to you? Hopefully in Rome: Total War 2 a really nice LoTR mod is made; I would even pay money for it.

Yup, there are some sub mods you can get to make that stuff less harsh, when I played Gondor though I was playing Vanilla, they are one of the harder factions to win with since you have Mordor and Harad breaking down your doors, had to camp down until I got proper Gondor infantry then gave them plate armour, expensive as hell but you get what you pay for.

It's not necessarily harsh, just once you get the good units they take so long to recruit and they are worn away in like 3 battles. What do you recommend? Haha nice Gondor looks so spiffy in their plate

Today I reached map 15 on the latest version of Brutal DooM on Ultra Violence. Damn.. its so damn hard compared to the vanilla. I doubt I have the guts to take on the Nightmare with BD lol
