Any infos out on the characters ?

I mean Hicks is confirmed,  if I remember right they want to bring out 3 chars in the first series. He should come with Pulse Rifle and Shotgun. But who else ?

I bet on Hudson with Flamethrower and Motion Tracker
And I hope for a Vasquez with Smartgun

Other than Hicks; love Hudson, Vasquez and Frost. Frost and Hudson would both come with a Pulse Rifle and a motion tracker, each. Vasquaz should have the pistol, Pulse Rifle and the Smartgun. Hicks should be included with the Pulse Rifle and the Shotgun, for close encounters.

Hicks: Pulserifle, Locator,  head (with helmet on), Shotgun

Apone: with binoculars, flamethrower, cigar

Hudson: Pulse Rifle, Hacking tool and Motion tracker

Vasquez: (removable) Smartgun, Pistol and Pulserifle

Drake: Smartgun, acid burn head

Frost: Motion Tracker, Pulserifle and Pistol.

.... my ideas..

well, except that they need the licence for likeness of them all. I see no reason not to release most of the Male marines as they can have alot of re-used parts.

They did the lost preds, so why not these guys?

I guess humans are less popular but they still had bigger roles than the lost preds.

Honestly, NECA is (thankfully) taking a big chance making the Marines.

Human figures tend not to sell as well as creature figs.

That, and the cost of securing the likeness rights, means the initial run REALLY needs to sell well or we won't get all of them.

I'm excited to hear they're considering comic book and video game Alien/Pred figs though.  That's a huge step in the right direction.

That´s true: some time ago in Neca facebook account, a fella asked them if they had plans to release some predators from the Dark Horse comic and the administrator from Neca looked very interested in the idea.

NECA is showing Prometheus & Kyle Reese at SDCC.
They are not showing Colonial Marines.
They will release Prometheus Series One this Fall.
They will release Kyle Reese as part of The Terminator Series Three this Fall.

They are NOT showing the Colonial Marines at SDCC.
They are NOT releasing the Colonial Marines in 2012.
Series One will consist of TWO Colonial Marines.  Cpl. Dwayne Hicks is confirmed as one.  The other is yet to be announced.

They are showing Predators in 1/4 scale & 6 inch scale at SDCC.
Predator Series 7 & 8 are 25th Anniversary themed.
Predator Series 7 is projected to be released before the end of 2012.
