whats portal?
Are you serious?
yeah man.

i lost track of WTF Valve and HL series were doing a few years ago once my computer raped me during Episode 1 content and i never PC gamed again.
Well its sorta like a puzzle shooter with a creepy computer voice telling you what to do. And apparently it is somehow linked with half-life. The place you are stuck in in the game is a rival companys facility called Aperature science to Black Mesa.

unfortunately with the USB end. Very painful.

And i dont recall Portal.

I think the oldest seperate thing i remember for the old HL was this game where. You went to a planet which had dinosaurs and robot guys.

Portal is one of my favorite games, and I'm hopeful for Portal 2, but after Left 4 Dead 2 I'm still a bit skeptical. L4D2 wasn't bad, but it felt like they added more Special Infected just to up the difficulty and- as a result- length of the game. For the longest, I was tempted to trade it in for something else. I'm hoping Valve learned from that and that this is its own game, rather than just a however-many-hour retooling of the first game.

Also, it wouldn't hurt if they debriefed us on Half-Life 2: Episode 3. I didn't even like HL2 that much, but everyone keeps on complaining about the delays, and it'd be nice if those folks could collectively shut up about it sometime soon.

I would be super mega hyped for this. But, after LFD2, I think Valve have started to slip a bit and have started releasing sequels too quickly in some odd power hungry attempt to overtake the universe.

Which Portal 2 will undoubtedly do considering the RIDICULOUS hype surrounding that game. Well played Valve?

Im keeping hope alive for this release since I absolutely fell in love with the original, but im left to wonder how on earth it will fare being a full game
