I've seen a concept art of the box by Ron Cobb, but it's not mentioned in the movie right ?

I think head crushes should appear in an alien movie. That's a nasty way of dying.

Perhaps the new film will deliver in that regard?

I'd like to see some more tail-slapping & spiking action.

Absolutely ! Tails are kinda under used in the movies.

That last image at the bottom is the best. Finally a Predator in full body armor. Love it.  This is what the Predator in Badlands should look like.

Yeah man, generic futuristic AI predators... nah.
