The game is fun as hell to play and all the campaigns are good. I like the multiple campaigns and different perspective style. You really have to complete all the campaigns to fully understand the game which includes Leon, Chris, Jake and Ada once you complete the other three.
Leon's campaign was decent. None of it was scary, but it did have a bit of an old school feel to it atmosphere wise. His story with Helena was decent and for the most part fun to play, but really nothing to write home about. I like Leon, but his one liners like "Not a fan of sewers?" is just annoying.
Ada's campaign I enjoyed quite a bit. Finally figuring out everything about Carla was interesting and compelling and Ada is such a great character as well. Her relationship with Leon also always interests me. As a single character gameplay wise I also have the most pure fun playing as her, I wish I didn't have to stop.
Jake's campaign I also found interesting. I enjoyed his development as each chapter went on. Ustanak (I may have butchered his name not sure) was obviously meant to be like Nemesis, but I actually enjoyed most of the fights with him. And the scene Jake had in the final chapter with Chris was very great and I would love to see more time between the two characters in RE7.
To me Chris's campaign was the best. Like most of the game the gameplay was all about action, but what surprised me was how good the emotion and story was in it. I won't spoil anything, but especially in Chris's campaign things build up and it was really well done with a great ending.
