It seems that everyone has an explanation for everything, but the most complete answer is the simplest one.
Humanoids on that planet are not Engineers. Whether they keep their shuttles in backyards or in some distant hangar
is not sufficient or relevant argument.

If you remember when we tried to translate the glyphs from the leaked photos.
This words popped up  - VITEAMORTESON, OU(I?)NOSTESOFILI

and when translated (to some extent, using Engineer alphabet)

Googling "Viteamorteson" gave the suggestion "vita mortis" which is latin for "life and death". A wink at the comic maybe?  The second line brought up no suggestions.

Similar to "Nostri filii" Latin for "our children."

My point is: Maybe those humanoids in Paradise, humans on Earth and other humanoids are just the children of the elder "gods" who died in order to seed new life.

Humanoids on that planet are not Engineers.

How do you know that? It's very logical that they belong to Engineers race. Juggernaut from LV-223 flew to where they come from.

I dont know... just presume.
To come from doesnt actually mean to be part of that. Maybe they originated on that planet but left
and created colonies like the one on LV-223... and those who stayed in Paradise are just some primitives.
Remeber the story of Atlantis... There are many possibilities.

Most logical thing for the movie narrative would be that Paradise is actually the planet from the prologue scene in Prometheus.

They never said that the prologue planet is Earth... and its logical to assume that the Engineers/Elders seeded many planets togehter with Earth. Also, there is a great possibility that there are multiple fractions or even races of those humanoids.
