I've found this about "full colour 3d printing" though... Humm You can send the textures to shapeways.. just gotta be careful. :P

None of this is legal and it breaks the EULA so I wouldn't advice that you do any of it. Specially since you're going through a 3rd party.

That said the sandstone stuff is really really raw looking. It's not as good as you think it'll be but it's the cheapest. Definitely not something for detailed characters.

Agreed. I would love to see an Amanda Ripley figure made of polystone or resin.

That being said, is it possible to examine the character models found in the games? It's a great way to take a look at the finer details in the models without them trying to kill you.
