So i just read Alien Covenant will have a book sequel in september 2017.
What you guys think of that?

I think it's a prequel.  The article contained misinformation most likely.

Aye, Scified may have only just found out about it, we reported on a sequel novel back in October. It sounds like it may not actually be a sequel though, but a prequel. The initial report said that ADF was writing a sequel but he says he's working on a prequel. We don't have any clear info on what is happening just yet.

the constellation of the planets of Covenant crew patch suggest
that, at least.
