Tried to watch Alien 3 again last night

Tried to watch Alien 3 special edition again last night after 5 years. It does start off great, but had to close it once the superintendent gets snatched or right after. Sorry guys I give up, couldn't continue. Not sure why, maybe it's that squiggly cgi runner. Anyone else find it looked like the protomorphs in Covenant when they're running in the wheat fields?

Just to be sure, there was 2 eggs aboard right?

Don't see how you can bring Hicks and Newt back after this. Was that Hicks jaw split in 2 on the EEV?

The "it wasn't CGI" thing? It at least looked like it, and looked bad, so bad the stuff that wasn't CGI looked like bad CGI.

It's my dream that they one day replace the compositing effects with an Alien CGI that's at least on par with what was in Covenant.

It's my hope they'll redo the compositing with the original puppet footage. Both are quite unlikely, though.

People who saw the film in theater for the latest round of anniversary screenings said the compositing was fine. And this was coming from discerning folks.

That compositing has never been fine - unless they actually did something to it and didn't tell anyone.
