Best version of each film

So I just picked up the Anthology set, which includes 2 versions of each film. Theatrical, and Directors cut.

I have off Monday, and plan on doing a full Alien marathon. But which versions of each film are the best versions to watch? I have only had standard releases/tv recordings up until now.

I'd say theatrical cuts of everything for a marathon.

Aliens' director's cut is normally seen as "the" version, but I'm one of those people who prefers the tighter theatrical cut.
