I mean sure, but then Aliens love ice cream parties and their hostility in the movies is caused by the absence of ice cream parties.

I think my standpoint is a little bit closer to the source material though.

The source material only shows them communicating verbally, with the only on screen indication of telepathy coming a genetic mutant clone with vague memories making an incredibly ambiguous statement.

I'm just saying it's a stretch to say they're definitely telepathic in the movie.

As much as I love Rez, it shouldn't be taken as evidence of anything, ever.

I take no pleasure in referring to anything as a praetorian, mind you.  The entire concept offends me.
