Yea that's what I'm talking about! I'd rather them tackle some of the weirder designs from the game rather than just repaint the same mold.

One of those is substantially cheaper and more cost-effective than the other, which is why they keep doing it (and evidently, people keep buying it).

Yea it's easy to see why they keep repainting the same mold. Doesn't change my opinion though. I'm not one of those that keeps buying because all I see is the same figure. Others may be made out of money to do so but I'm not.

It's definitely a Praetorian of some variety! Looks a lil' too small to be from AvP 2010 so Defiance might be a good shout!

Indeed, 3 figures per series and 2-3 series a year isn't much. And just look at their Predator line... I mean, there are so many more characters / xenos to do with Alien series that IMO it'll last a few years. Let's hope this delay helps to convince some of the iconic human characters to give away their likenesses to NECA, so we could have never seen figures . After the Sigourney bomb, Vasquez and Frost were the icing on the cake. Hope we're not done with good surprises like these.

I don't know about characters from the movies, I'd like to have the whole squad but I'd be happy enough with just Drake.
I'd really like to see the characters from AVP2010 eventually. It's debatable weather or not Neca will just do new heads on the older bodies instead of doing the updated armor and helmets, but I could live with that. I'd really like to see Katya and the Combat Androids.

I was so excited when I saw that on Twitter! I was almost about to order the Hiya Toys Spitter as a stand-in for the Defiance praetorian.
