NECA Aliens

So sorry to hear this. The hate for NECA products seems very ubiquitous on AVPG. People get hyped up for a new release as they voice their complaints on older toys breaking or terrible unboxing experiences! It's almost as if the toys themselves decided to break out of jealousy!

I liken it to Battered Wife Syndrome...

The worst thing I've had happen with a Neca figure was my two first brown alien warriors.
One's leg snapped at the hip, the other its foot. The aliens I've gotten since then in the battle packs and singles have been good. I have the blue warrior, the red warrior, the Albino alien and Grid and they're all fine.

Over all my experience with Neca has been very positive.

Completely agree. I've had 3 joint breaks among a ton of figures, and my Powerloader fell off my shelf once and snapped the arm. Glued it back together, no problem. Also, needed to drill a slightly larger foot peg hole on jumpsuit Ripley and made one for S2 Big Chap because he was always falling over. Really can't complain as there's really no way to prevent such things.

Either way, I'll most likely get one.  I still have to get the 'ALIENS' 22 inch tall warrior figure.  I expect it to be the weighty brute the earlier Big Chap is.

Yeah.  I like these large scale figures.  I find they're a little too expensive, though.  Serves me right for living in Australia, huh.  They're Well detailed but have a tendency to fall over due to their top heavy nature.  If you buy one and want to display it out of the box, buy a display stand to use with it.  That way, you will be able to enjoy the great range of articulation to the fullest because as they are, they need to use the tail to help stand the figure upright.

I must say that I don't own any, but I'm not interested in them honestly.

If NECA release a 22" inch Dog Alien, you might change your mind.  I'd buy that in a heartbeat.  At full height, it would stand close to 2¹/2 feet tall!  It would be F*CKING ENORMOUS!

...imagine a 22" Stompy... When fully upright, it too, would stand about that high. *SWOON*

Funny to see Neca is just milking the same mold over & over with new paint schemes. If it was actually accurate to the game, it should have the smooth head. None of the Aliens in that game had ridged heads. I'd be more interested if they tackled some of the other weirder looking Aliens that appear in the game but that would consist of Neca creating a new figure all together.

No joke man. I will def. get that ice blue warrior as my first NECA figure. For some reason, it reminds me of the old school 90s ice blue Kool-Aid drink. Probably doesn't taste good either.
