We are at 19 days from the movie release and still no Theatrical trailer, no official Domestic Poster, no updates on the official site. They can't promote a movie like Predators with only one Teaser Trailer released in March. No ?

By now being only that far away and tasting it we can wait with little promotion.

Good find. I bet Predators will move onto number 2 spot, I mean I've seen a lot of Air Bender trailers on TV, so the next couple of weeks Predators should get a lot more advertising also.

Adrien Brody shunned fancy hotels and spent weeks living in a damp "hut in the jungle" while filming new movie Predators - because he was determined to bring a sense of realism to his character.

The Oscar winner has stepped into the alien-fighting franchise made famous by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1980s for a big screen revival, and the actor stayed on location in Hawaii to shoot the monster movie.

Brody, who plays a mercenary leading a team into the jungle, admits he was determined to get into character ahead of filming and refused an offer to stay in a luxurious hotel in favour of a ramshackle hut set in the depths of the rainforest.

He says, "We shot in a thousand acres of lush tropical rainforest, a location of prehistoric dimensions with giant leaves and jungle canopies. I stayed in a hut in the jungle. I isolated myself in a damp room, with screen doors, not an air-conditioned hotel room. I studied meditation techniques. My nightly reading consisted of military training books, paramilitary manuals, field guides and special-operation manuals. I had no mobile phone reception... The only time I would leave set was to exercise... I would get food, but otherwise I was on my own in one of the rainiest place in the world."

And Brody is adamant all the "discomfort" he suffered while preparing for the role was worth it.

He adds, "I felt the need to stay focused and for this period of time and just be disciplined. It is an effort to be faithful for a character and convey something truthfully and I know I can subject myself to severe discomfort." »
