Well, you wouldn't really know considering the studio cut it to ribbons, including removing the entire third act. Not that that has any bearing on the excellent score by Alexandre Desplat

There's lots to like about the film. It's just a pity the studio destroyed it in post.

Yes, the ending did feel incomplete.

The design of it all was very imaginative. I don't remember much else.

Over an hour was cut, including the entire ending, and then there were a ton of shitty reshoots to make it all make some kind of sense, all because the studio feared the Catholic backlash. Bastards.

I saw it in theaters and that was enough. The bear getting it's lower jaw torn off was the only cool part in the whole movie.
