Wolf left lots of Alien & Predator evidence in the sewer

After Wolf bashed through the sewer he left dead Aliens in there without using the blue stuff.

He also left his activated mines in there. I'm sure somebody found all that stuff down there.

So the gun wasn't the only remains found by the mystery men.

It doesn't really matter.

He could have gone back and cleaned all of up if he lived.

If the nuke hadn't have been dropped, and it would have been the same stalemate between him and the Predalien, he could have activated his nuke.

Either way, it would have been cleaned up, or destroyed.

But The Wolf Predator didn't know the place was going to be nuked until the end of the Roof Top battle. He just ran out of the sewer, leaving everything behind.

As other people have pointed out, the nuke would have gotten everything.

Not to mention, the power soon after went out, their were 'monsters' all over town shortly thereafter, and everyone was trying to leave town.

...I really doubt any workers were gonna just say, "ah yeah, lemmie go down and take a look around."

Regardless, The Wolf doesn't have the ability to predict the future. Prior to his last few seconds of life, before he gets killed in the bomb's explosion, he had no idea the town would be bombed.

Given the circumstances, I at least figure he'd rather stop them, than worrying about cleaning up. Obviously, it reached a point where cleaning wasn't his main goal at that point.

Plus, with a town in panic, Joe Everybody isn't going to be worried about a hole in the road, they were all trying to leave. He could have cleaned up later on and had plenty of time.

EDIT: Well, the military did show up, and we know what happened then - had they had shown up, and been able to contain it and win, that'd have f**ked Wolf pretty hard.

Then why did he waste all of that time melting Buddy and Sam? Why not go after the Aliens while they still might be in small numbers. While he was cleaning up, the Predalien was reproducing like there was no tomorrow.

Then again, skinning Buddy made no sense, so why should any other of his actions? lol

For the love of God, did you NOT read the rest of my post?

Sure, Wolf didn't know that was going to happen, but with everyone fleeing or dead he could have very easily cleaned it all up had they not have dropped the nuke.

If he was in the death stalemate with Chet, and there was no nuke, and he was going to die, he'd have activated his own bomb gauntlet.

Everything is destroyed with either bomb, or he lives, and cleans up.
