Cool. By the way, Chris Seagers made five movies as production designer with ... Tony Scott :)

Thats why Ridley decided to work with him.
Chris was one of Art Directors for Saving Private Ryan.

His major movies as Production designer:

Deepwater Horizon
X-Men: First Class
Transcendence
Deja Vu
Man on Fire

For that reasons I'm not worried about this aspect of Covenant.

Agreed. Also, Ridley Scott has never made a cheap looking movie. He's oft-accused of trimming narrative logic to death and having zero exposition in his films (and occasionally, the extreme opposite), but it's always immersive and lovely to look at.

I've no doubt it's going to look great. That was never in question for me. My worry is around the narrative content.

I'm afraid Covenant just isn't going to offer enough. What I liked about Prometheus, was that it was quite grand and ambitious. Now with Covenant, they seem to be going for a very claustrophobic atmosphere. And that's great, but as a result it will probably feel a lot less grand and ambitious.  :-\  I hope it's going to be more than just people getting killed by aliens all the time.

And you've come to this conclusion how??

From the leaks, mostly. The trailer and some interviews, as well. Those can be misleading, though.

I'm just saying I'm a little bit worried. I'm sure it's still going to be a fine movie.

Yeah, I'm very interested in what he comes up with for the other movies.

Yeah. We shared a bunch of crew clothing in the middle of last year. I think it had its own thread. Really hoping to nab one of the creature crew shirts at some point. I managed to snag a construction crew hoodie which I love.  ;D
