You're mixing up your jockeys. The original pilot is/was grabbing the 'steering sticks' but the new pilot never does.

.sp the only creature who was in the movie that could fly that ship sitting in the pilots chair, you cant assume that the ship is controlled by that same engineer in that chair? hahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahha

Makes no difference.  He was obviously piloting the ship in Prometheus.

Just making a friendly observation, considering the thrust of the argument was how he piloted the ship. I certainly wasn't claiming that he wasn't piloting it...that would be silly.
