I always liked the runner's torso design, especially that spinal column and rib cage.

I never liked the tendons connecting the lower jaw to the skull (for the Runner). Nice redesign, but still not a patch on Giger's 1978 Big Chap, imo.

I love the original's dorsal tubes and head-rest. It helps break up the humanoid form in a very striking and creative way. I just wish the appendages had some visible (onscreen) movement to them in ALIEN.

The head-rest sucked and I adore every other aspect of H.R Giger's Alien.

Nah, rib cage is all wrong as are the jaw tendons and the head design (which fortunately is obscured by the dome).  And the lack of back tubes.

[Local Trouble]

The neck and jaw tendons look like melted cheese.  Never liked those parts.  Not really a big fan of the lips either, to be honest.
