Surprised Cameron hasn't combed through it yet to digitally remove the wires, given what he did with the stars in the sky in Titanic after complaints.

He did actually do some digital tweaks for the Blu-ray.

Have a feeling he said something at the time about only wanting to fix obvious errors, and not mess with facets of actually making the movie, such as those wires. To be honest, I'm not sure they're even visible in full-motion, with all the strobes and chaos going off in that scene.

I was only being a c**t.  I'm glad he got rid of the Bishop hole but I wish he'd have also sorted the Queen's neck.
